Brazil 'to get property boost from economic emergence'

10/7/2008

The country’s development as one of the Bric (Brazil, India, Russia, China) bloc of emerging economies – which are all seeking to encourage overseas investment – will help it carry on emerging. Rising real estate prices are a side effect of an economy on the up. Investors seek out markets where rental returns are good and properties provide good cash flow. This trend is tempting investors to look seriously at this South American country.

Another factor that could further grow the property market is the tourist sector. President Luiz Barretto recently launched a major tourism advertising campaign, while the country is also expected to gain extra visitors from its status as hosts of football’s 2014 World Cup.

Testimonials

Thank you very much for all your help in buying our flat in York and in subsequently getting it let. You really have made the process easy (especially as I have been abroad for most of it!). I’m very pleased that, as we complete, it will be occupied in under 3 weeks.
