Resort Vision

The Flaxby will be Yorkshire's premier resort and an international luxury destination in its own right. Located in the heart of the ‘Golden Triangle’ between North Leeds, Harrogate and York in 283 acres of rolling Countryside, the resort will be within touching distance of the A1. The planned architecture is a grand country house style that will combine classic styling with a modern finish.

The Rooms

The 303 bedrooms will be opulent and comfortable featuring cutting edge entertainment technology with a luxury finish. Ranging from double rooms to vast presidential suites, they will offer first class accommodation and many will enjoy panoramic views of the golf course and rambling countryside.

Bars and Restaurants

A range of bars and restaurants for all tastes are being planned. Michael Vaughan, Skelwith head of Corporate Leisure and the former England cricket captain, will have a high class sports bar and there will also be a champagne and cocktail lounge as well as a Yorkshire Ale Bar. Restaurants will include fine dining from Michelin starred chef's to a more classical hotel bistro style.

Business

The Flaxby is an ideal location for meetings, conferences and events and is perfectly located to the nearby Harrogate International Conference Centre. The hotel itself will also be able to cater for business events of all sizes and will feature a range of versatile spaces and full business support services.

Guest Experience

The Flaxby experience will offer unrivalled luxury and service to every guest. This will include in-house tailoring services from James Michelsberg of Leeds, bespoke jewellery from Harpers, access to virtually any local service or product through the concierge as well as a preferred private aviation firm that will arrange travel to and from The Flaxby from anywhere around the globe.

The hotel will boast a state of the art gym, indoor and outdoor pools, the largest Elimas spa in Northern England whilst the jewel in the crown will be the Lee Westwood designed golf course. In 2011, when the hotel will be open, Lee will be the touring professional for The Flaxby acting as an ambassador around the world.
