The road system has improved hugely in recent years thanks to significant investment, enabling travelers to get around more efficiently. An international driving license is not required. Driving is uncomplicated and leisurely compared to driving in the UK and self-sufficient travel is very easy.
There is an international railway link which connects Bar with Belgrade and there are scheduled bus services to all the main cities within Montenegro as well as bus lines to Serbia and Croatia.
