The latest research shows Montenegro Real Estate prices are increasing at 20% per annum. This is good for the foreign investor as it is seen as a "guarantee" that there will be a return on their investment, should they wish to sell the property at a later date.
One of the reasons for the recent real estate price increases is due to a massive growth in in Tourism within the country. The World Travel and Tourism Council cites Montenegro as being the fastest growing tourist destination in the world by 2014, generating over 21% of the country's total GDP.
Montenegro Real Estate is still in it's infancy. Our Mimosa Park development in Kumbor, will house the first indoor swimming pool in the whole of Montenegro upon completion. Mimosa Park is in the village of Kumbor and the development has been designed so that the apartments have stunning views of the Kotor Fjord, and the peninsula of Lustica.
There is a dramatic amount of construction under way in the country, although there are procedures in place to avoid the over crowding as seen in other baltic states. Many of the building projects include redevelopment of the country's infrastructure and communist-era buildings.
Montenegro was declared an ecological state in 1991 and the natural treasures within the country, such as the beautiful walled medieval cities, Unesco-protected national parks packed with wildlife, and the world's second deepest canyon increase the potential for a range of holiday activities only currently offered by far-flung destinations such as Canada and New Zealand.
The growth in tourism can only be a good thing for investors in Montenegro Real Estate. With high rental opportunites throughout the year, there is a real possibility for regular income through the property.
The number of tourists to the country is on the rise, at a rate of over 17% per annum. There are over 240 days of sunshine in a year, offering visitors and tourists opportunities to visit Montenegro for over 8 months in the year, something that many parts of Spain cannot offer.
