Bulgaria to Receive Additional EU funds through New Grant Programme

3/31/2008

The funds will come from a new grant program of the European Commission called "Transnational Program for Cooperation for Southeast Europe".

It aims to accelerate the socio-economic integration of specific regions in 16 countries, some of which are EU members, and some of which are aspiring to become such.

Almost EUR 207 M have been allocated for the new program from the EU budget. The grants will be awarded to joint trans-border projects dealing with environmental protection, the improvement of transportation and communication connections, development of entrepreneurship, and the application of new technologies.

Testimonials

Thank you very much for all your help in buying our flat in York and in subsequently getting it let. You really have made the process easy (especially as I have been abroad for most of it!). I’m very pleased that, as we complete, it will be occupied in under 3 weeks.
