Skiing Conditions Perfect in Bulgaria

1/1/2008

There is a meter of snow on the slopes of Vitosha mountain near the capital Sofia, while in the resorts of Bansko and Borovets the snow cover reaches 2 meters.

Temperatures at 2,000 meters above sea level range between -3 to -6 C and the weather will remain calm and sunny, providing perfect conditions for those who want to end 2007 with a swoosh or two down the slopes.

All ski runs are open but rescuers say tourists and freeriders must be on alert as there is avalanche risk off-track.

Testimonials

Thank you very much for all your help in buying our flat in York and in subsequently getting it let. You really have made the process easy (especially as I have been abroad for most of it!). I’m very pleased that, as we complete, it will be occupied in under 3 weeks.
