Spanish Government entices Investors back
Buoyed by recent positive trends in the Spanish property market figures, the Spanish government are going out on the road to spread the news and entice potential investors back again.
UK property investors will be able to learn about the latest activity in the Spanish property market, together with an examination of the pricing and stock situations and any developments in the legal process. A conference at the Spanish Embassy to discuss these issues will take place next Wednesday.
The delegation will be led by Jose Blanco, Minister of Public Works, and Beatriz Corredor, Housing Secretary. The UK has been chosen as the starting point of the tour due to the large interest from British buyers over the years and the close ties between both countries. They will then go on to other countries including to Holland, France, Germany and Sweden. The first phase of the roadshow is intended to target trade and large scale investors and then the second phase will target individual and private investors.
Speaking recently in Madrid, Jose Blanco stated that “the Road Show will highlight the strengths of our economy, transparency and legal certainty of our planning legislation. It is a good time to carry out this pioneering initiative because the markets that have the potential to invest in second homes are recovering”.

Testimonials

Thank you very much for all your help in buying our flat in York and in subsequently getting it let. You really have made the process easy (especially as I have been abroad for most of it!). I’m very pleased that, as we complete, it will be occupied in under 3 weeks.
